Business Administration, Management Studies

The new management study course of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.Sc., 180 ECTS) is being offered at the PFH since January 2010. This degree is state-recognized and accredited by the “Zentrale Evaluations- und Akkreditierungsagentur (ZEvA)” central evaluation and accreditation agency. All those interested can apply as of now for the course starting in October 2010.

The Business Administration study course offered at the campus in Göttingen and lasts six semesters. In the first two semesters students attend the same courses on the fundamentals of general management as their fellow General Management students. Here they acquire theoretical knowledge necessary for their specialization later on. As of the third semester Business Administration students will be able to focus on one of the three subject areas:

Entrepreneurship – particularly for students who want competent preparation for company succession in small- and medium-sized businesses
Retail/Marketing/E-Business – for students with an affinity for commerce, sales and e-business
Tourism and Sports Management – for students who want to specialize in the areas of tourism, sports or event management.

Students can additionally cultivate their personal abilities in soft-skill seminars, with foreign language classes as well as in optional national and international internships.
