The PFH Private University of Applied Sciences is offering the European-wide unique engineering course of studies for degrees in Bachelor of Engineering (Composites) and Master of Science (Composites). Carbon fibre-reinforced polymers (CFRP) and other fiber-reinforced composites are considered the material family of the future. They are especially sturdy, corrosion-resistant and lighter than steel or aluminum. A growth of about ten percent per annum is estimated for the CFRP sector. Lightweight structures made of fiber-reinforced composites are gaining in significance across all branches of industry such as the automotive, mechanical engineering and plant construction, rail car and shipbuilding industries. Our study program in this field is directly aimed at the requirements for training and further education as demanded by industry and research institutions in order to maintain Germany's competitiveness in key technology sectors for several years to come. |
