Admission Requirements & Recognition of Degrees

The minimum requirement for admission to a distance learning study program at the PFH is the German advanced technical college entrance qualification. However, the University and College Act of Lower Saxony can make a number of exceptions. It is therefore possible to meet the admission requirements with the following:

Fachkaufmann or Fachwirt certified by the Chamber of Commerce or Chamber of Trade, with previous work experience
Certification from an Academy of Business Administration and Public Management, with previous work experience
Bachelor Degree
State certification as Betriebswirt
Examination for the master craftsman's certificate in accordance with the German Vocational Training Act, Handicrafts Code or German sailor employment law

The PFH recognizes a number of degrees as previous achievements for your distance learning study program. After individual assessment, you have the possibility of receiving credit for your previous achievements and starting in a later trimester (Master study course) or semester (Bachelor study course) in order to shorten the duration of your studies.
