ProfileThe study program for a Bachelor of Arts in General Management (180 ECTS) is designed as an extra-occupational distance learning study program. The study program qualifies graduates for a position in lower and middle management. CurriculumThe study program covers the wide spectrum of business administration (General Management). The basics of all relevant areas in economics are covered in the first semesters: In addition to an introduction to business operations and areas (e.g. Procurement, Production, Sales, Marketing, Financing or Investment), basics such as political economics as well as quantitative and system-oriented methods are addressed. In addition, the appropriate soft skills are integrated into the individual modules as the study course progresses. The profile is narrowed down to functional and industrial focus areas. Students can choose from the following subjects as their industrial focal area: Auditing, Service Management, Industrial Production Management, Tourism Management, Sports and Event Management. The following subjects can be selected as functional focus areas: Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing/Sales, Group Accounting and Business Informatics.
