Distance learning study program for Master of Arts (M.A.) in General Management

Profile

The General Management distance learning study program to acquire a Master of Arts degree (120 ECTS) is a consecutive and continuative study program for business science graduates of the Bachelor study program with the achieved 180 ECTS. Based on knowledge acquired in the first job-qualifying degrees, further management subject matter is conveyed in modules to the students.

Curriculum

The students are taught special management subjects like International Management, Organization and Process Management, International Strategic Marketing/ Sales Management, Controlling, Business Management and Entrepreneurship. In addition, the study program offers an insight into related topics (International Economics, International Business Law and Business Informatics). In accordance with individual career plans both an industrial focus area (Trade Management, Industrial Management, Tourism and Sports Management, Health Management and Corporate Finance) and a functional focus area (Accounting, Logistics Management, Education Management, E-Business) are selected. Additional soft skills topics are integrated into the study program to develop personal competencies and to help successfully complete the study program (Self-Organized and Individual Studying, Self-Management/Time Management, Team and Conflict Training, Personality Management and Research Work).
