PFH & Management

Since the state-accreditation and opening of the PFH Göttingen in 1995 students are being prepared to take on and carry out complex management tasks. Starting in the Winter Semester of 2006/2007 the University modified its courses to "General Management" and "Business Information Systems" to meet the European-wide standards for Bachelor and Master degree programs. PFH is one of the few universities in Germany whose study programs leading to a Master's degree have been accredited as an intensive study course. Students can obtain their Master's degrees in only four years and four months with a contractual job guarantee following graduation. Comprehensive internships that are integrated into the study program, the two thematic areas of concentration as well as deciding on regional focal points in international affairs are the basis for excellent career prospects later on.

Furthermore, the University actively promotes career development with its distance learning program. Expanded course offerings now even enable working professionals to attend our Top Ten University. Goals, content and methods of the distance learning program are aligned to the needs student to enable him/her to both study and work full time. During the three-year program students are prepared for the full range of tasks in the areas of production management, marketing/sales, controlling, organization, human resources, auditing and, particularly, tourism management.
