University Rankings

University rankings have become an important source of information in Germany. The results are a confirmation of our philosophy and work: The Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen (PFH) has been consistently ranked as one of the leading business schools nationwide.

We consider the excellent rankings a positive distinction as well incentive to improve and maintain our outstanding quality in the areas of teaching, practice orientation and study duration.

Students of the StudiVZ Internet portal evaluate the PFH Göttingen as the best German private university for applied sciences for the area of business sciences. This ranks the University as the fourth best among all German universities.

The CHE / DIE ZEIT gave the PFH Göttingen top rates in 17 of 24 categories in a ranking in 2008. The total of 189 universities were not given specific placements in this ranking but, based on the data, were categorized into a top, middle and an end group instead.

Place three in business and place two in business information systems study courses: This was the result of the „karriere" job magazine's university rankings in 2007. Based on a poll involving some 50,000 students and graduates as well as human resources managers from 1,000 companies, PFH Göttingen ranked first among all German private universities of applied sciences.

In a ranking of the Wirtschaftswoche in 2005, 800 human resources managers, among others, evaluated the PFH as one of the top ten universities nationwide.
