The "Institut zur Entwicklung der Wirtschaftskompetenz von Politikern" (IEWP) engages in research activities in the area of business-relevant practices and effective decision structures in politics. Global-scale expertise and the behavior of politicians are objectively compared by analyzing their business skills and their role as multi-topical experts.

The Forschungsinstitut für Arbeitsmarktreformen (FIFAR) focuses its research on the effects of individual socio-economic measures on the job market.
