PFH Göttingen Alumni

Graduates of the PFH founded the "Club der Alumni der Privaten Fachhochschule Göttingen e. V." (Registered Association of the Alumni Club of the Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen) in December 2007. This association for former and current students is made up of present as well as former students in addition to friends and supporters of the PFH. The club presently has around 100 members from Götingen and Stade. First Chairman of the club is Dr. Julian Voss, a graduate from Göttingen and Second Chairman is Thomas Kruse, a graduate from Stade.

First and foremost, the club's objective is to network PFH alumni and students of all fields of study and academic departments. In addition, the association champions an ideal as well as material support of study conditions. Even undergraduates can join the association as adapted members. The adapted membership automatically converts to regular membership after graduation for an annual fee of 50 Euro plus a voluntary additional contribution increase.

In the short and medium term, the club is planning a number of activities such as regular regional get-togethers, subject-related colloquia, lecture series, seminars, homecoming weekends alternatively taking place in Göttingen and Stade, active work in mentoring programs, an online address book and scholarships for intellectually gifted university applicants.
