Klaus F. Bröker studied law in Marburg, Freiburg and Göttingen from 1979 to 1985. In 1986, he received his doctorate with a thesis he wrote on "Criminal law problems in commodity futures and options transactions". After his legal clerkship, he worked in various law firms and management consultancies until he set up his own law firm in Göttingen in 1992. At his law firm, he is still involved in national and international banking, stock exchange and capital market supervisory law as well as commercial, business and corporate law. At the same time, he worked as a professor at the FH Mainz and a lecturer at the PFH Göttingen. He is also a lecturer at the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences and at the FernUniversität Hagen. In addition, he has published numerous textbooks and articles and is, among other things, a commentator in the Munich Commentary on the Criminal Code.
